you give me hope.
thank you for being you and thank you for this music
*i know i already told you, but the bass sound on this mix is incredible
Love when that gritty dark bass comes in with the drum groove. Mixing in taps gave it an extra haunting feeling. Well done!
Wow, the way this deepens and spirals into uncertainty and dissolution... really powerful. Amazing work ![]()
Lots to think about on this July 4th. Thanks for giving us a soundtrack worthy of these dark and strange times.
love the steel drums cause that's the birthday but also not
great notes
I LOVE YOU
happy fourth because the idea and the nation are bigger than anyone person or time or moment
the bass sound on this mix is incredible
allow me to chime in:

Didn't expect the chords to hit like that at the beginning, kind of a way to foretell what'll be next and preparing us to get our feathers rustled.
A lot of contrasting elements making it really interesting to listen to, keeping us on our toes.
(I would have tried to make Taps in tune, but I guess it was an editorial choice that I can respect!)
Great job!
Woah! First off I love the title. That was quite the geomagnetic reversal in terms of tone change come second half, very nice play on contrasts and it fits the narrative/questioning perfectly. Same for that solemn trumpet at the end
Very well executed once again and I appreciate the literature and general statement. Keep up the good fight
The first chord hit was an awesome surprise. Just as I typed that, the big bass surprise came in. I love unapologetic surprises in music.
Your trumpet taps is a very contemporary classical idea. The way it sits in out of time and off pitch to sound “bad” is the sign of a modern composer. I’d love to hear the trumpet with a bit more glitchy / fuzz effects on it. Broken record type sound.
