some beautiful+interesting harmonies going on here = subtle but emotional tension

Really nice exposed feel to it.

I'm really loving what you make each week. The atmospheres you create are really captivating. The vocals and guitar are gorgeous sitting amongst all that reverb. What do you use to record and mix your tracks?

I'm really enjoying your weekly offerings as well!  What are you recording on/with?
I'm using a 2012 macbook air & an older version of garage band  - i'm just recording through the mic on the mac - most of the recording are bedroom recordings the older ones were recorded in a room with great wood floors & plaster walls - the reverb bounce was great in that room - this year i've been in a carpeted space with drywall & the sound is more padded in that space - i mix & play a lot in the mastering function of garage band - when i'm doing the acoustic stuff - even the vocal tracks - i like the acoustic guitar "large reverb"  & tend towards a cathedral or moonscape reverb in the master - sometimes i bump the overall reverb & sometimes i'll use other vocal filters to record through but i kinda layer the different reverb settings on the tracks and then in the master & i always try to set the tracks to mono

Opening credits to a film shot on Super 8.  Gorgeous.

Beautiful track!

Thanks heaps! I use Garage Band too. I haven't played around in the mastering function of it, so I will do so and check out some of those reverbs. For recording I've largely used my phone, ha.
