Initially I wanted to make an entirely different track that now lies stale and barely started on my hard drive. Instead I had the urge to make something more fun again, something trancy and energetic. Certainly not perfect (i.e. missing up/downlifters, filter sweeps),  but I still am quite happy with the result given I only had a week.

Fun indeed. I hear what you mean by wanting to polish the track further so it moves even more-have better transition.

Nice, dig that supersaw, and there's some interesting polyrhythmic stuff in here

Thanks, the supersaws come from the SuperWave P8 in this case. The polyrhythmic feel may come from triplets and different swing settings on a few tracks? I wasn't even aware of that until you mentioned it.
