Thanks for listening, glad you like it. I only knew Don't Go and Situation, certainly classics. But boy, that whole album is good stuff.
Oh wow that entry bass is DEEP. I had to look up Yazoo cuz brain isn't working, and yeah, channeling bits of Only You here but I think this track is unique in its own right, there's something distinctly modern in that gated bass that's working really well with the more "retro" elements, definitely worth pursuing if you had fun here.
Also, again, that bass - it's fantastic. Feel free to front and centre the fuck out if it all you please its working so well.
That synth coming in at 0:35 is giving serious "Fade to Grey" vibes 
This feels like a nice hommage to the 80s!
