Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

After another FMS update from Ess, I decided to get back into the spontaneous jam method I was enjoying. Wrote some patterns throughout the week (during the bastard heatwave) in work and then just jammed 'em out on Saturday. First take used no matter what. Didn't even do any filtering this time round, raw is good.

I don't do as much jamming these days as I'd like. But when I do, not doing anything beyond the technical minimum starts to defeat the point for me. I'm very much of the idea if you want it to be better/different. Do it again, only better/different. Which isn't an ideal philosophy when you're only giving yourself one shot, come what may. But hey, ho, to each their own, no.
Anyway, it's a neat little jam. I enjoyed the noise bursts. The arp is also great. Fun stuff.
