Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I accidentally/decided to make techno this week, getting back onto the M8 and feeling weird.
I originally wanted to finally set up my hardware with midi properly, finally and failed completely.
Maybe next week.

Oh noooo... I've heard that connecting a bunch of other gear to each other can be a royal pain, sorry to hear it's not been an easy road for you. The only other piece of gear I've ever tried connecting the M8 to was the little Roland S-1 synth and it was super easy to do using a single midi cable. But I know that connecting multiple things is way more challenging.
This came out super fresh tho, I really like the gritty growly main lead!!!
This does NOT sound like a failure! It's tight and super gritty, and I love the dynamic changes and variation a lot. Great job, and I'm looking forward to hearing your full setup.
