Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Had even less time than usual this week. Started off with the bass riff and wrote the rest late on in the week.
Most of it was accidental but I like it.

How did you make this feel c64 ish
A mix of by accident and just sound selection. The snare is a c64 snare sample that came with the M8, mixed with a breakbeat snare slice. The bass is wavsynth in the M8, aiming more for the lsdj wav bass sound. And the arps are again the wavsynth with a pwm that I like to use.
I have a background in chiptunes as well but never wrote just for the C64 so it's good that I sort of managed that sound
