When Light Becomes A Blur | Fast, ferious music to play WipeOut to inspired by Black Metal

Black Metal inspired electronic music to play WipEout to...? Maybe. It's fast, harsh and mean. Perhaps a bit too angry and dissonant for a typical WipEout game, what do you think? Regardless, I quite like the track. Lots of tension! And thoroughly ferocious.

this is fun and different. im not getting traditional wipeout - it feels more like im being chased by something that will kill me if they catch up. awesome sound track to like a hardcore version of Mario being chased by bowser in a Mario kart boss-fight chase. from just before the 2 minute mark it starts sounding a bit haunting which is awesome (like a scary park ride). there's a complexity to it that I find enjoyable as well. nice!

a personal favorite (because it makes me nostalgic I think) starts at ~3:55 when it sounds like im close to the end and the game is ramping up the difficulty.

I think I see what you're going for, maybe.
Could use some guitar though.

Thank you Monstret! I'm happy to hear that you like it. I hear what you're saying it being more of a being chased kind of tune than a racing one. That's just where the music wanted to go this week. The Mario reference made me lol hard. And it's spot on, yes. Thank you for commenting and sharing your thoughts, much appreciated!!

I agree Devieus, I think it really could benefit from some guitar, yes. I often think that guitar is missing in my music. Unfortunately I don't play it guitar myself.

Super loud and super intense. Just when you think it's letting up, it shifts into a higher gear and gets even more stressful. What a journey.

Reminds me of a show I saw last year that was 2 guys doing 45 mins of nonstop blastbeats and 2 chords. My partner had to duck out because it gave her anxiety.

Good stuff!

What show did you see? it sounds interesting! And yeah, I can totally see how that can be anxiety inducing for people.

Couldn't remember earlier, but they are called Dead Neanderthals. There's a truckload of music on their bandcamp. Recordings don't compare to having it blasted in your face at ear piercing volume for an extended period of time tho hehe

Thanks, I'm going to check that out. And yes, volume can be a vital part of a performance.
