Abandoned Space Station

By electronic_tiger on January 9, 2024 9:13 am

Taking the new Behringer Edge for a spin. Using a Korg SQ-64 as an external sequencer to get into some odd time signatures. Featuring the Elektron Analog Rytm MKII on drums as well as the 2600. Definitely taking some inspiration from Richard Devine's approach to modular acid.

great time sig choice! this belongs in the cyberpunk soundtrack for sure. well done!

Very bleak vibes, matches the title perfectly!

1:06 hits hard! Great tension and release, love to hear a song in 7 as well.

Great tune, it was really surprising to find a weird tango dance party in the spacestation

Thanks Entropica. Yes, the Behringer Edge lends itself well for bleakness. At least in my hands.

Thanks Cursory, it does hit hard indeed. By sheer coincidence my track this week track is in 7/8. Not as tense as this one. But if you fancy some dreamy arp'ing techno in 7/8 be sure to check it when WeeklyBeats drops it in a day or two.

I'm happy to hear you've enjoyed it Madrone Radio. Dancing is space should be fun. Think of all the moves you could do when the artificial gravity fails.

Thanks for dropping by!

Solid beat and paints an interesting atmosphere
