Prophet

I've been learning VCV Rack, which is only going to nudge me towards Eurorack even more. It's been a great way to learn modular synthesis. I recorded the output of a patch I made, resampled it in Serato Sample, and then I just let the song take me where it wanted to go. This is probably the biggest departure from my sound, though I think it still sounds enough like me. I promised not to let this project get weird, but tbh I was getting bored with making fairly straightforward sample-based boom-bap. Fuggit. Let's get weird.

Lyrics:
I hear their cries
And I feel their mourning
And I see them coming
And I see us fall

weird ftw. Love the groove here. Vox and synths all sound nicely balanced. Sweet clip. Send it to brainfeeder

Haha there's an idea.I'm definitely tryna hit that perfect middle ground between FlyLo and Lorn.

Nice! Gotta hear some newer Lorn I used to love his stuff

Very funky. The bass in this makes all the differences, feels reeeeal good.

Thank you!

Very immersive intro, and it's nicely repurposed for the beat!

Nice and gentle song.

Yep! You are the spacey prophet! So good, and vocals so on point!

Heck, this is super tasty. Groove-wise and pad-wise, oof you got me.

nice layering going on here, vocals tie everything together. the understated bassline works well with the heavy swing feel

Thank you for the very kind words!

This is great. I kept expecting it to switch to some kind of triplet feel and I'm glad it never did. Lovely vocals.

Suhweet laid back vibes with the beat and pads.  The vocals are awesome and it reminds me a bit of Gallant meets Bon Iver.  Nice work!
