I had to go way back into the ancient archives for lyrics for this one because I just did not have time to write anything new. I added a quick bass and guitar part and lotsa reverb, et voila! I squeaked in a June submission right under the wire. Whew...

This is lovely. I’m primarily a bassist, and I’m always impressed at how you’re able to make songs where bass is the primary voice. The coupling of bass and your voice here works so well, and the ache of the lyrics is wonderful. So recognizable.
