At Least Three Bonks

By Dustsucker on May 17, 2026 11:56 pm

Formerly known as "Bonk Bonk Prrp".

Running out of song names.. Can you tell?

Had a super busy week at work, had to blast this one out in the last hours before the deadline again. OP1-F + M8, mastered in Logic, the pathway to glory. Having a hard time keeping up with the video's tho. Tired, but still doing okay.

Grab that M8 bundle

Sorry I've not been able to keep up with the comments as much as I'd like. How have you guys been?

Even if the song title supply is running low, I'd say this one is an accurate description of the sounds found within.  The bass really drives it with a heavy percussive feel, but the other textures really add to it as well.  It feels like something mechanical is going awry, but in a spectacularly groovy sort of way.

A nice, super energetic track! I think a more accurate name would be 'Bonk Bonk Bonk puuuh' (at least three bonks).

Percussions level 2000. Bass is bonkers. Would work for a doom level. A quickie, but nasty! Nasty good.

Thanks for the suggestion, this is way better!

lol

Really energetic! Bonks are all in the good place.
Crusty bitcrunched drums and bass, really nice.

Awesome bonks. Love how you're intermittently syncing up the lead and bass for little duet sections! Love the restrained but super punchy drums. And cool fills!

so intricate and yet so head-noddy
love around 1 min when the bass is like, "ok i'm taking the wheel for a bit"
nice work!
and i'm doing ok, thanks for asking. finding beauty where i can & trying to stay present, even when it all is weighing me down.

such cool rhythms! Head boppin

very cool, elements of savant in there, its the chord sound i think

Bitcrushed head banger, that bass is infectious and what a nice lead synth to keep the bass in check.

This has all the donkin bonks and the bonkin donks required.

CHUNKY!

Love all the little glitches and runs towards the end, super cool.

"Three shall be the number thou shalt bonk, and the number of the bonking shall be three. Four shalt thou not bonk, neither bonk thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out." tongue

(Great track, by the way!) big_smile

Thank you! Something mechanical gone awry would've been a very good inspiration for a title. I've started a list of random song ideas, just to have a little pool to go back to for inspiration.

Thank you! Slowly getting more comfortable at this last minute speedtrash thing. Seems like you sussed out my metal roots with that Doom reference wink
