we tried to fake it for our pretty fears
we tried to say it but the mouth is ghost
its in us
chin up
i tried to name it when i couldn't feel
i looked all over but it seemed too long
it was a tickle right behind my eyes
it took a river to un-break it all
we let the light between subliminal
escape from pages meant to dose a room
a bullet point became black and blue
until it shifted into sunset moods
