Vexed

This week, as I continue to try to learn the M8, I wanted to bring my other new(ish) piece of gear - the Minifreak - into my M8 workflow and get them working together. It provided lots of the sounds/samples for this track.

This is my second entry and it's a bit all over the place.  I spiraled a bit iterating on it and had about 10 different versions with different arrangements and vibes - but having the weekly deadline is a nice way to force me out of the infinite loop and just get something together so I can move on to the next thing, even if its kind of a mess.

Hope you enjoy!

"even if its kind of a mess" - nah dude this feels pretty pulled together. there's a lot going on at time, but that makes a feel for the track that i dig. and it makes the fadeout at the end that much more effective. im into that dark and brooding synth sound.

I'm currently listening to WB's while working and this one immediately drew me in. Very cool soundscape, lots of action. Love the sound design too. Interestingly, somehow the M8 does seem to have its own sound, I often recognize it.

Overall: absolutely lurvly. heart

This is lush and dark. Very cool vibe, like the opening credits of a late-80s horror special on cable TV.

Creepy and crawly, very cool
