Moth's Shard

This week again was incredibly busy, but at least I managed to spend some more time on a track and actually do a pass of kinda-mixing run.

I dunno if it's my exposure to odd/compound meters or I'm getting better at making them sound smooth, but I'm surprised how "non-odd meter" this one sounds.

Or maybe that's a charm of x/16 meters (this one is 13/16)

This is super neat! I’m not familiar with 13/16 so I had to listen to this like 5 times to finally manage to count it right (what worked for me was 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3-4).

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! Haha I can act all smart, but I'm not best when it comes to counting other people's work - I have the benefit of DAW big_smile
Yeah, "chorus" is basically 3+3+3+4. "Verse" is more like 2+2+2+2+2+1, but it's how it's punched in in piano roll. How it actually feels is the imporant stuff

Very smooth for 13/16! It all ebbs and flows in a really satisfying way.
