Flea Circus

After playing around with the electric piano in garageband, I put together a rather silly 3/4 tune and decided to render it out and try doing 3/4 time on the m8 (using 6/8 on the groove setting 00 for the last 4 entries). I also created a second groove that swings a little for the drums.  Wasn't sure where this track was headed until inspiration struck and here we are. wink

Hope you all are staying warm / dry / safe on the roads / etc. as winter approaches.

Awesome kick.
Funky groove!

Quite a whimsical song, I enjoyed it.

The 3/4 with the epiano gives it a cool Burton/Elfman feel.  The percussion and kick give it a unique touch.  Nice work! smile

ah those hihats are soooo tasty, the rhythmic delicacy here is nicely accentuated by these skittery rhythms, very nice choice... and the rest of the track is well crafted throughout as well smile

I aim to please! Thinking about stepping away from WB at year end but it was a real pleasure sharing this last "semester" with all of you here.  I feel as though I am in a graduate music program here except all the classes are filled with professors ands wizards! Awesome and crazy at the same time but always a joy!

So glad someone else feels this way- I _love_ these hihats and can't stop using them. Thank you so much for listening to mine and everyone elses tracks and commenting so much this _entire_ year.  What an amazing amount of encouragement and inspiration you given to us!

Future fairground vibes, land of the terror clowns, could imagine it in an alternate universe Mario Bros ghost house.
