Kind of a stream-of-consciousness midtempo LSDJ jam in two short movements.

Written in LSDJ 9.3.9, mixed in Bitwig Studio.

Thinking about the eclipse this week and wondering if I should have made an effort to make it out to a place that gets totality. Will probably only get around a half eclipse here. We have eclipse glasses but I'm considering making a shoebox eclipse viewer too just for fun. Today I had the thought it would be cool to build a light sensor MIDI controller and capture a performance of the eclipse, but that'll have to be a project for the next time a solar eclipse pops around my neck of the woods.

Reminder, if you're in an area that can view the eclipse: DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN W/O PROPER EYE PROTECTION! Look for glasses rated by the American Astronomical Society, or the “AAS”. Or look up how to make a shoebox eclipse viewer! It's fun and cool!

Punchy. Cool grooves.

love the rhythmic changeup around 1:20 and then the build from there into the second half of the tune.

some nice cellphone-interference-style little chirps and blips adding texture. nice work!

i think the distortion really works on this one and i love the crispness of all the sounds. nice one!

Super cool track!  I love the break-down at 0:43, and then I love how you keep that slow stomping sound when the the other fast part comes in for a bit.
