Little Bit Louder

By DonutShoes on March 31, 2024 2:52 am

This song was an exploration in simple arrangement with just a few musical ideas. I've been absently exploring this idea I think throughout WB, since often I don't have a ton of time to devote to writing, and out of necessity I need to get shit done. This time though, I tried to make it a core part of my composition. I'm *super* pleased with the result, another hype track that I'd easily play in a club setting.

Speaking of clubs, do you live in the greater PDX area? I'm playing a show there late next month, so reach out if you wanna attend!

Track made on the M8, with additional mixing/mastering in Bitwig Studio

This is SUPER fun!!! Also, congrats on the show! That sounds super exciting!!!! Break a leg!!!

Fun vibe and awesome energy.  Go kill it at the show!

Forget the clubs—but this is music I'd jet grind to, and there is no higher praise than that.

(Actually, don't forget the clubs: I hope you have a great show in PDX!)

Agree with all the comments - this is VERY Jet Grind Radio, excellent energy, bright & streamlined. I love the downpitched vocal sample for some harmony and the simple switches to keep things interesting. Good luck at the show!

Make it a bit LOUDER!!!!

Well done. Nice hits all over the place, fun listen.

Might come as no surprise that JSRF is my favorite video game of all time! Also, its spiritual successor Bomb Rush Cyberfunk was my GOTY 2023 and also one of my favorite games smile Thanks for all the complements and good luck wishes everyone!

Aye we raving now.

me and the WB squad rolling up to the DS show like

Damn that's funky.

This here is some silly wonky-doodle funk-step! and yep hearing that JSR and Bomb Rush goodness seeping in there

Yessss. Feeling very Propellerheads at the start there. Track bangs. Would happily DJ. Longer version would be great!

Reminds me a bit of Kursa's DET/Craig David bootleg, which is an absolute banger: https://soundcloud.com/kursauk/selectaaaaaaaaa
Also Isenberg's remix of Move by Alex Session and Graziella: https://soundcloud.com/punksmusic/alex-session-move-feat-grazellia-isenberg-remix

illegal rave yes

I like how short the samples are, everything feels tight and snappy. fun track! good luck at your show!

I like this track!!! I'm happy now. Cool use of the M8.

Dope track, the vocal sample is super fun.  And the arrangement is very nice, super danceable, great energy management through out, never gets too repetitive and it's impossible not to bob your head to.  ♪┌|∵|┘♪

Just bought this off Bandcamp it's so good!

YO thanks so much!!!

Dude, this has all kinds of late 90s/early 00s vibes.  I feel like me and my friends should be playing lazer-tag right now.  Or maybe jumping up and down in a gymnasium at prom.
