Over the past decade I have accumulated a large number of song fragments which never became anything. This song started as an improvised verse and some mumbly fumbling on the piano around 2009. After revisiting the piano part a few times to try and distill its essence, it finally coalesced into what you hear here, with lyrics extrapolated from my original idea.
