Winter is coming

I am pretty happy about this one. Did guitars and bass DI recording, not going thru any amp and I quite like how the amp simulations turned out.

Some acoustic drums. A pass of whooo ho vocals pass.

It's nice to hear something like this in the playlist this week.  Solid rock + also contemplative.  I liked how every part has its own time and space to sound good on its own, but all together they add up to make something great.  +fav

you did a great recording. how come you can produce this awesome sound without a megabig studio? I love the clear and airy stereomix you created and the fat drums in here. well done.

A perfect microcosm of nomadic angst coupled with defiant arrival, every feeling framed with passionate nonchalance heart

Thanks a lot! there is kind of 2 different parts but with some space leaving some instruments off in between.

I'd love to record some stuff in a professionnal studio with loads of killer gear and stuff, but we live in an era where we can do so much with "not that much" that it is awesome. (I so have some decent gear... but this is not the millions $ studios, some of those are closed too... sad Some decent guitars, a good sounding drum, some decent microphones (not all hi-end))

Anyways, trying to release a little something cool every week!.

Thanks for the listen!

As always, amazing drum sound. Hard to believe those guitars are DI. That building feeling in this is really cool. Nice jungle drums in the middle there.
