Sunglasses and tequila

A one chord song this week... smile It was actually very fun to do.

Drums are from addictive drums, DI electric bass, Fender telecaster.

VoilĂ !

Interesting sound based around one chord. You'd think the listener would get bored in theory, but you used plenty of variety with the bass, melodies, and dynamics to keep it interesting the whole way through!

This is like an exercise with an interesting constraint - how to keep a single chord interesting with variations of rhythms and accents, and small changes here and there. I like that, it's a perfect fit for Weekly beats! La guitare donne aussi un petit air de vacances d'ete.

I did not expect a reggae from you, but now I need more. it can get a nice summer with this tunes.

Happy this didn't bored you. smile I was not that much in the mood to do a track this week, so I wanted to do something simple, just told myself that I'll do a single chord track. Did think to go the prog way with some crazy polyrhythm going with always the same notes and octaves, but did think that the reggae was even easier to go for... Damn I am lazy. Sorry about that.

Surprises surprises! Reggae works great for summer. smile

You really did a good job injecting some variety into this, which is nice since one-chord does seem like it could get repetitive quickly.  The reggae vibe is a lot of fun, too.

What a refreshing beat.

Cool reggae dub vibe.  The bass and drum groove add all the movement needed. I hear revolution fomenting in this chord!

Digging those dub vibes.  My feet and head instantly bobbed to the grooving beat.  For just one chord you put some nice variation into the guitar/bass lines.

I see you have strong feelings for A major
