Low and slow

By djippy on April 5, 2026 6:17 pm

I planned to add drums on the track, but it is easter and tough to make the time to do so...

So only guitars and bass this week. I might do a version with drums next week, or maybe not. I am happy with the ambiance of the track anyways and a track is a track right?

Rock.

this is killer without drums. It adds to the song because you're expecting drums and they never come. Very epic feeling.

Low and slow indeed, definitely has ambience, an atmospheric build. Hope ya had a good Easter!

This is so dark and ominous with delicious guitar tones. I don't know if drums will help but I'm willing to be proven wrong!

Guitars sound excellent! Love how it started out introducing the theme and then leads to the chorus of bass & guitars.  A cathartic sound \m/

It's interesting to hear it without drums as it allows you to really focus on the guitar textures, which sound great.  It also creates a moody atmosphere.

I listened to the track quite a bit before I decided to to upload it as is, and happy I did. Yeah big powerful drums would probably adds a pushing forward vibe, but I feel there is enough layers, changes that track is interesting enough, go from start to end in a cohesive way.

Thanks for listening! And yeah, did go guitar team cause of your last week track that is very good!

I might try to do that (Not in a great mood for the last couple of weeks, I don't feel like pulling the work for music creation, so I probably will go "lazy" and just track drums for this one, maybe add even more layers.

Thanks a lot.

J'aime bcp le tone de la baritone !

Works well without drums! This way it feels like an intro to an epic concept album, really makes you yearn for the heavy drums to kick in on the next track.
Sounds awesome! \m/

Love the guitar tone. This still sounds awesome without drums
