Lazy slow dirty drunken blues rock

By djippy on November 10, 2024 8:09 pm

This one started with the idea about doing some slow blues, but it kind of morphed into an indy rock blues track that is kind of fun.

I feel I should go back to some older project to check again what was my signal chain for my drums (Plus do a tuning session maybe) as they don't feel as deep-powerful as some other recording I did... But it still sounds allright I suppose.

Hope you guys like it, we are getting close to the end of the year... Brace yourself for the holiday season!

Rock on!

I like the title haha.

This has a cool sound. I think each instrument sounds good and I can hear each one clearly, great work with this mix.
Some nice drum fills and a cool jam overall

nice sloppy feel and mix (i mean that in a good way), i feel like i'm at the bar with you.
cheers!

Love the drums slugging along with the bluesy guitar.  I agree the drum fills are awesome and make ya feel like you're in the room.  Gave me some mogwai-feels with the guitar sound too.  Nice work!

Aptly titled indeed, I dig it.

What's your drink of choice?

Mogwai did record some pretty cool stuff so I am very pleased by the comparison.
Thanks a lot for the good word.

A good beer, I do like stout, red, pale ale, etc... Some drinks are super good as well but I think I prefer just drinking some beers.

Some slow dirty drunken blues rock is always fun, I do feel like I'm down at the local blues jam in the bar I sometimes go play at!

What a great title and an apt one. This is good stuff.

Teleports me to a nice cozy/dirty pub with dark wood paneling. Great laidback vibe. Wouldn't mind drinking some alcohol free beers to this in the background.
