Another kind of wave

There is weird stuff happening with my acoustic drums, but this is what it is...

Started with the "synthwave" loop. Did find some melody with the bouncy synth next, then electric bass, guitar then did record some drums.

Added some subharmonics stuff to the drums cause WHY NOT, but it mess up stuff.

I DON'T CARE I STILL THINK IT IS A FUN LISTEN!

Oh ca c'est bon! Le mix de la basse continue tres synthwave, le beat humain avec de bons accents, et cette melodie qui sonne un peu comme quelqu'un qui siffle. J'aime beaucoup! Ca me fait imaginer plein de scenes!

Yo, it's totally a fun listen. It's got a real mood to it that I really enjoy.

Has a cool sound and energy.  Very fun to listen to.

I really like the synthwave intro. Sort of gives me Lamb vibes. I love how airy this one sounds. The drums and guitar are really nice too. I really enjoyed this one!

Nice! The synth-forward approach sounds really cool here. Kind of a cross between synthwave and trip-hop vibes. The guitar feels effective in the overall composition too when it's sparsely used to to add emphasis to the chord progression.

I like this experimental use of synth, guitar and the effects on the drums. It creates a ominous feeling.

This is great blend of the synth with drums, really enjoy that reverb/delayed synth bell sound playing throughout.

I think I recognize one of my fav sounds to use from Ableton? The shipwreck one when you mute the piano has such a nice thick and full sound to it.  If you're not using Ableton oopsy lol.  Love the downtempo feel that conjures up Mogwai Miami Vice vibes smile

Did not recognize you in this track at first! Then it all came together and I hear you in the pacing and guitar. Nice change up with a darkwave sound.  That synth melody is lovely and haunting.

I did chop - modified the attack of the guitar as well to treat that as another synth. Thanks for the kind word.

Thanks, as Tone Matrix mentioned, this is a stock patch from Ableton. I think it suits the track well.

Yes, I rarely tweaks presets, sometimes I mess it up with adding some fx, in this case I don't think I even did that. lol. Dependings on the type of tracks I sometimes use Ableton, especially when I do use samples or want to compose by "blocks"...

Thanks! A year is a long time, so yes I do sometimes go in different directions, still there is djippy touch.

Surfing the wave.

Same here I rarely mess with a preset unless it's to fix the timing of the fx already on it lol.  I was just excited to hear one of my favorite patches being used smile I totally am not the "from scratch" kinda dude.  I wish I could but yea gotta love those 'goto' presets.

What a vibe this song has. Cool beat manipulation all over the place. Digging the creativity on here.
