I recorded the main riff early this week I was, all right I'll be good to do this one on time, no stress. Here I am 1h before the end of the limit wanting to tweak all the stuff that I don't really like, some levels here and there that I am not a fan of. Meh, too bad, I'll just like release like that.

I am kind of dissapointed of the acoustic drum snare (I use both programmed and real drum on this one). I wanted the acoustic drums to pop out at the same time of electric guitars and I failed at it, it almost sound more electronic than the electronic one... too bad.

Except for the little things here and there, I am happy about how it works.

Have an excellent week all.

And yes those are real birds that you hear at the beginning. first riff was recorded outside with the electric guitar unplugged, using the laptop microphone. smile

Rock!

I like the vocals and the way the track as a whole built up.  It had a really cool vibe to it.  Drums sounded good to me.

this is rockin as hell,  that lead guitar riff is catchy as all hell.  live the grittiness to it, reminds me a lot of early Black Keys.  love the sound of the unplugged electric in the beginning, great early buildup

Les paroles sont très drôles! Nice mood and overall groove here.

DAT KICK! The transition from acoustic to electric is friggin sweet. That main riff kicks too.

Thanks, I do like how the drums sounds, however I feel that snare sounds too similar than the one from the programmed drums. I did leave too much dampening on the snare, I think having a more ringy snare might have work better.

I am not sure about which kick you are talking about since there is 3 different ones on this song but all good, if it works good with you I am happy. smile

Good vibes here. I feel like your production is improving on a weekly basis. Take this as constructive criticism, but your timing sounds better too. I think the snare sounds great. You can hear the sizzle from the bottom of the real snare for sure!

Just wait for week 52, it is gonna be a masterpiece... wink

Seriously, thanks. I play a little more, record more than what I used to, so yes I think I am getting some better workflows, little tips to do some things better. Even the playing probably improve a little. As for the drumming-timing improvement, probably. I usually don't play with a click when I jam with my friends and I did use some of those jams for early weekly beats. I put a click when I record for myself, even if I find it really really tough. I do as good as I can even if I don't have that much time to put into that, I truly enjoy hitting drums and moving some air.

Thanks a lot for listening. smile

Man, you have swagger to spare! Everything is so laid back and perfect with that up close in your face vocal. I like that loose feel of the drums and guitar. Very intimate in your face feel.  That snare rocks! Saved and faved! This is bad ass

Dropped this track into my zoom chat with friends so now i'm the DJ smile  Having drinks to your 24! Thanks man. Cheers

Hell yeah man, digging that main riff.  Love how much everything builds up throughout.

Swagger is right on. Killer groove. Loving that guitar. Nice one!

This is a super fresh and bright recording. Love how you bring together all the unplugged and amped pieces. The voice is above it all, like god is speaking from heaven. Keep on going.

I love the guitar sounds and this nice guitar riff on the left one. I like the dimensions/space of the song, with the position of the vocal being very close and the guitars in the back. It's great also when the crunchy guitars enter.
It is similar to what I think tom waits might sound like if he was French.

Guitar is such a fun instrument. I am far to be good at it but it is so much more fun to play alone than drums... So sometimes I play. smile
