The Discreet Charm Of The Bourgeoisie

By dj someguy on January 30, 2016 3:36 pm

A moody track, it's house or techno, but with definite soundtrack-y elements. There's quite a lot going on, but I think I managed not to over-do it.
The track was inspired by a Luis Bunuel movie from 1972.
Mainly used plug-ins (Diva, etc ...), and also a Korg MS 20

Very moody, very cool

Which movie, *A pero andalu ?*

No, the movie is actually called "the discreet charm of the bourgeoisie", from 1972.

Really like the panning percussion and synth that comes in 1/3 of the way into the track

Thanks, man. I love Villalobos, and depending on which French techno you're talking about, I'm very happy with the compliment!!

Dig the dark chords and floating high motif.  Nice.

Yeah, couldn't control my darker side, this week wink

great track!

I could maybe find some dark Villalobos/Agoria atmosphere here, yet very personal. Do you think Fernando Rey and Catherine Deneuve would dance to this?

Great production. Your stuff is really hipnotic and both suitable for the club and the living room
