miscalculate cervidae

Did a thing I've done on other albums where I take a repeating pattern and make many copies and jump from pattern to pattern adding a note in a certain place after a number of patterns that I think feels right, although for this track I just did it for the percussion. Doing the same thing for the actual instruments/melodies was kind of dull

Really dense layers here. It's a little bit ominous but with powerful atmosphere.

A Buzz user, very cool! I cut my teeth on that platform in the late nineties, I had no idea what I was doing most of the time, but it was very fun and formative in my musical journey.

Ok, on to the music: Very nice atmosphere with the (de)tuning of the voices against the room. The percussion is wet and swampy, to a great effect. I might be playing too much Caves of Qud, but I feel like I've stumbled into a damp, dripping cave, exploring the terrain and encountering strange beings along the way. The repeating and present clav/hat I imagine is my steady consciousness/heartbeat as I traverse the depths, trying to remain calm. Great piece, very vivid space and imagery!

i like this nebulous darkness of a vibe!

Très spooky j'aime ça
