Made some experimental, funky and chippy sounds this week. Started out with a simple M8 FMsynth slap bass patch that cycles through limit types in the table. Then the track ended up turning into house before morphing into a sort of Primus-influenced jamband sounding thing. Got a little carried away. Sound design could definitely use some more work. It's almost all synths but I was experimenting with mixer commands (specifically with putting chorus, reverb, and delay global volume commands in tables and phrases in order to try to make the synths sound like slightly glitched out samples layered over each other with tails cutting off and ducking etc on occasion...) Not sure if I succeeded or created a mess! - (but it was a lot of fun) The strange lead that comes in every now and then is Macrosynth and cycles oscillators stepwise in the table to add to the overall weirdness and glitchyness. Didn't have time to mix and master so the render is straight out of the M8. Thanks for listening!
