Finally got around to messing around with LSDJ 9.2.L stable on the Analogue Pocket.  Was surprised by how good the pocket sounds right out of the headphone jack.  No post, really, other than a touch of EQ on the mixer between the the Pocket and the USB audio interface.  I definitely want to refine this track further later on the down the road as it could use some more bass and drum variation, along with more sound design work, etc.  Parts of this track were heavily influenced by the music of Defense Mechanism so a shoutout to him.

WOW, what a fantastic tour de force of pretty much everything I love about chiptune.

Looks like I need to check out the Analogue Pocket...

0 to 100 in 5 seconds and never slows down. Fantastic musical ride

One of the bestest fucking things ever. Favoriting and downloading. (My preordered Pocket should be here sometime in time for 2024 WB...)

WB's random music queue brought me back here tonight, and it still hauls / kicks ass in equal measures.

This is good stuff.

Holy crap this is amazing! That youtube vid is going on my "favorite chiptune" playlist. Absolutely nuts. Amazing work.

Also, I'm jealous of your pocket haha. I ordered as soon as the preorder went live and I'm in the next batch. I've got tons of modded game boys anyway but man, that screen looks so good.

wow! - that is quite the compliment. Congrats on your order-  yeah it's been fun to compare and contrast the DMG vs Pocket sound.  So far i can barely tell the difference but it does exist.  When I played this track on a line out modded DMG the clickiness of the WAV channel was more apparent and on the pocket certain samples sounds just slightly different i can't really explain how (or maybe it is the noise layered on top of the snare).

thanks so much!

Yes the screen is incredible!  I somehow was able to get a preorder in back in 2020 and didn't receive mine until this last December - it's so fun to write on this.  I can't wait until the OS (or jailbreak) allows for LSDJ to be loaded up on the SD card with all the .sav files anyone could need (right now running it as a GB studio creation is a little wonky with .savs so I am running it off a flash cart)
