Lucky One Three

Don't say Macbeth in a theater.  Don't walk under a ladder.  Don't cheers with an empty glass.  Don't break mirrors.   Don't give knives as Christmas presents.  And under no circumstances should you at any time open your umbrella while indoors (unless you are trying to avoid facial recognition technology - then it's fine).   Some M8 Tracker wavetable funkiness.

This is such a flagrant display of OTT tracking virtuosity, I feel like i ought to nominate it or salute it or something―although that'd be impossible with all the grooving.  I love it + instant favorite + you're on the always-fly list.

How the yikes yikes yikes did you bang something like this out in a week,
How the cool cool cool did you get wavetables to do that, and
How the heart heart heart can you make it all sound so natural and live ?

TL;DR: It's good.

glitched sexy, slick fire!

This is fiiiiiire. Favoriting and downloading, top-tier badassery.

Thank you - your comment made my day!

I can share the tables and project with you on the M8 discord if you would like - in the video some of them are shown.   Basically its a table that adjusts the color of the wavetable by +16 (COL10) every 6 tics so even if a note is sustained it sounds like its being constantly picked because of the waveform changes.   Then there is a gating sort of effect also in the same table where it switches from 16th notes to 1/8 note triplets triggered with a Table hop command in phrase and by calling up a second table in phrase with different values it makes the bass stutter and spurt while trucking along with that constant changing of the wavetable - then there is some octave hopping in the phrase so it shifts around.   I just modified that same patch and used it for the melody as well with some of the effects subdued iirc.  Then the steady lead that comes in has a table on it that switches oscillators to make it sound like up and down picking.  The rest is some LFOs set to warp i think?
I'll get you the bundle on discord.  Im glad you enjoyed it!

thanks all!  i'm proud of this one and happy people dig it - been enjoying all of your weeklybeats as well - cheers to making it 1/4 of the way through this crazy year

Wow. I'm just catching up on week 13 tracks and ... this is insane. I legit went back and listened to that one bar transition (row 03) at least 10 times lol. Your mastery of the M8 is inspirational.
