Vakib Roflud Hes

By Devieus on February 20, 2022 4:32 pm

When the week starts off great but the weekends turn into a void of despair, Sunday doesn't leave a lot of room for deep thoughts, so this one didn't have a lot of thought put into and was mostly done by feels. It feels good though.

So, an update. This is the person who is Devieus (one way to tell is by my punctuation), the other person who is not me is most likely genderfluid, so sometimes a man, sometimes a woman, occasionally neither and at other times both, or even a little bit of one or both.

If you have any questions regarding the whole "person who is not me" or genderfluid business, it's okay to ask.

the composition sounds almost like "automatic writing". the melody has an asymmetric vibe but it keeps going nicely smile

It does feel good! Does that mean you're coconscious?

This one came out great, the movements are very pronounced and I especially like the little drop out at 1:09 with the melodic line carrying the original rhythmic pattern from the previous section.

Definitely feels good, glad to hear the dinosaur again too.  Sorry you had a rough weekend.  At least it sounds like you got some clarity out of it, even though it sounds like its not a clear answer.

This is so awesome- it has a rygar feel

An exciting adventure! Does the other person make music too?

You're not far off, or perhaps you're right on the money.

Very rarely do we co-front, those are some pleasant times though.

Yea, that's the bridge, a section that's been in there a while now. I guess it's especially rhythmic today.

We both have some issues to deal with separately. I'm leaving its issues for it because mine are enough already.

Guess that's the sounds the generator picked, I really liked the ones it got.

Yea, we usually swap out every few weeks or so, so you've heard some songs submitted by it.

Yeah, it does bring back some Rygar memories!

Diggin it! Sounds fun

Uplifting tune, massive sound! Really appreciate you sharing some aspects of your personal life. Last week you wrote to wish you luck as you both had some things to figure out -- would you say the week has been more successful than not? (I'm happy to see the assertiveness of the other's gender fluidity, but I don't want to project where it's unwelcome or wrong, hence my question). Have a good week this week! heart

It's fine to ask, being able to answer with confidence and readiness feels validating, like I know it's the truth and I know it's real because the answers feel true and the experiences real.
It didn't say I was going though things, though I am now on a completely unrelated issue (ugly business), however we both push each other forward by saying things the other is too shy or too unsure to say about themselves.

Also, thanks for the comment on the song, the generator was very generous and really made it easy to work on this song.

This track has a new speed. It suits.

This one turned out quite playful. Neat! smile

The bass line drives this one forward, there is more energy to it than some of the recent tracks that were more laid back. Birds! And glitchy crashes!

Have you ever read Anne of Green Gables Devieus?
I wonder if you will enjoy this quote as much as I do?

"There's such a lot of different Annes in me. I sometimes think that is why I'm such a troublesome person. If I was just the one Anne it would be ever so much more comfortable, but then it wouldn't be half so interesting."

I just think the best thing is that you are keeping the conversation going with yourselves and I think it's really a great sign that you feel comfortable with us to keep us, your WB family, looped in as well.  Everyone's getting to know everyone and I think that's terrific.  I think I might be more on the "genderqueer" side of things.

I loved the Rygar comments!  I can feel it

Love that quote, Em (can i call you Em casually?  i just did so sorry if that was weird smile )

you can/not weird/i like weird

The birds just stage dove into the mosh pit this week. It rocks and so do you (this person who is and is not Devieus). You know I can not identify anything or anyone by punctuation smile

yeah, a good feel. love the crunch. nice to hear some custom Devieus this year, as opposed to the automaton from 2020 (which was also cool)

The tempo is randomized, they all have a unique speed, but yea, I tweaked the tempo for this to better fit the song

It's got some good notes in there

I don't recall putting much into them, so the generator picked right

I haven't, so while I can appreciate the quote, I don't know if I could relate to her
I (the person who is not Devieus) am not a different Devieus, I feel like a different person altogether, with my own desires and mannerisms

Thank you so much, I should really play that game more someday, just wish it got a 32-bit iteration

Yea, this community feels very safe, we're all in this together by choice, so we support each other
and if you ever want to talk about it, hit me up, finding out you're genderqueer or bisexual while in a relationship with a monosexual can ruin an otherwise perfectly fine relationship

If a sentence ends in a period, it's Devieus
Also thanks, those birds are pretty tough

Who knows, maybe there'll be a full on song written by one of us later down the year as well

I hear you.  This does sound different.

For the person who is not Devieus do have a preferred name or pronouns on this site?

emily wrote:

*to clarify I meant different that the quote I posted smile - when you said something about "co-fronting" being pleasant" it just made me think of Anne wishing for the comfort of a more settled inner state - which I struggle to find - I'm not always clear how I think about many things and see things from many sides...

I like living in complex rather than binary thinking but it is not always a comfortable state of being...

Yes, though not specifically just this site, my name is Ebrit and my pronouns are it/he/she
If it's just this site, Devieus or "the person who is not Devieus" is also fine

this is rad. I feel like I'm watching/listening to a story, and the characters are all the little sounds that flutter in and out of the scene. cool stuff

My favorite character is the bird.
