Storm the Gates

By Devieus on March 17, 2024 10:51 am

This took me way too long to make, but then this is a new process and my sleep schedule was absolutely fucked most of the week.
This one was guitar first, I then had to put the chiptune around it instead of the other way around. It's a fun improvisation to play, but kinda rough to chip it up. Still, the outcome is very nice and I'll be listening to it again for a while, and, should it come to it, play it on stage as well.
Don't worry about the drummer, they're fine.

It's at 200 bpm, I can't blame you
Even then the guitar was struggling to keep up with itself

A wonderful GIF and a fun song!

Wild.

Hahaha the power chord at the intro, with the birds reacting as if they're saying "let's go!!!" was the perfect intro. More chip metal!

Can't storm the gates in an orderly manner, so that checks out

It was all planned, the perfect plan for the greatest assault, air support and everything
More chip metal to come for sure

Excellent. And fast. That would be an intense and sweaty 3.5 minutes on stage!

the skill the guitar is played with is something that i currently dream of. and that ending is so well pieced together

It can very easily stretch much longer if needed, but it would definitely be intense
Not as intense as your stuff I'm sure

It's honestly a very simple technique, we use a tuning where just all open strings is a G power chord, you just barre a fret and switch between pressing down and muting

guitar sounds big and full, lots of energy here, good stuff!

Thank you~
It was powered by electricity, it has great energy, but this isn't even all of its potential
It's the restraint that makes the good stuff

Thick guitar sound with the brute force drums. \m/
