I messed with the scale generator, it's been a long time coming because until now, it's all been major scales. I didn't want to go too wild like I did last time, so instead I shuffled a step list to ensure it was a "diatonic" scale; not necessarily diatonic exactly because of technicalities, but the modes are a possibility.

So the end result is this piece that wouldn't feel out of place in a halloween setting, or I guess 2020 at large. It's got a strong verse and that's just how things can go.

I also made something of an outro, but it's very short.

Also, it's my birthday (8 Nov). Nice.

Happy birthday!.. this sounds decidedly phrygian.. smile

Like a wedding march from another dimension. Nice work and happy birthday smile

I like this. Has a different kind of feel to it but doesn't lose the sound I've come to expect from these pieces. Cool experiment! Also, happy birthday!

Happy birthday!
Oh yeah, definitely different vibe than the others though the ska beat is still there (as are the birds).

Happy belated birthday devieus, almost get the feeling that the bird now tries to imitate human speech with the varying envelopes and pitch you got going here. Although I think his great attempts could use less steel hammering. Poor thing, is it him that dies towards the end? sad

Thanks! I don't actually know what the scale is exactly.

As long as they're happy, or their equivalent of that.

I reckon the consistency is worth something, so the changes won't be super big going forward.

Thank you! The birds'll be there till the very end.

It's not that much belated. I didn't really change the bird at all, so maybe it's the scale it's operating in? The sound at the end is actually a different animal, supposedly hyenas, but I'll have to change them to something else.

And thank you for being a friend. You should pop in the Discord someday.

Some great melodies here and some great synth sounds incorporated too

Sorry I forgot your birthday again this year!  Happy belated.

It wasn't that belated, and you're definitely not the only one who forgets, so we cool.
