Quashkiis Uts In

By Devieus on January 23, 2022 4:48 pm

I didn't have much time to listen and explore much of anything this week, and I won't for the rest of the day either, so here I just took the meditative generator and bumped the speed 5 times its normal speed. This is basically what it would sound like if it were a normal song.

I quite liked it when the beats fell away and exposed the melodic interplay.  What are the processes choosing the notes and rhythm of the melodies/bass?

Not so meditative anymore, but it's a nice mood.

Definitely a different sound this week. All the back and fourth between the piano and plucked line is pretty sweet.

Bass up front, harpsichord and piano front left, bird in the back, supersnappy clap behind me to the right.
Another day at the bureau of musical experimentation! I like what's going on!

I guess you could say that's about normal song tempo. Not sure what normal is anymore. I hear interesting things in here, tasty trills and conversations, cool. Working backwards, now I get to go hear your meditative tracks I think.

There's something a touch hectic about this, like a stray worry that won't leave your mind. I like that you managed to capture that, intentional or otherwise.

Sweet- a really cool type of chaos here that’s original and has a soul

Sounds like you, but falling down the stairs and the bird scrambling out of the way. Lots of regret in the second half but luckily nobody was hurt.

still works meditative on me. nice

I like the call and response going on here.  This has a "actual humans" feel to it

There's a couple of people playing billiard with a lot of enthusiasm in the back. And another one playing an old arcade game. A nice friendly bar, it even welcomes birds.

The rhythm is really just random hits on a drum track on an 8th basis, as for the melody, it picks a random note from a generated scale and gives it a random length, basically

It's high power meditation

Thanks, I picked the sounds myself

The tempo is like 255, it's just a very slow song, so it feels like normal tempo

That was very much otherwise, but it's nice that it captivated you so

Only a little, the robots are very good at what they do

I guess that's not too far off from reality these days

Enjoy the peace, or let the peace enjoy you

Yes... "actual humans", totally nothing fishy going on here

There's always a friend here, even a fine feathered one

Maybe it's me but I detect some ragtime influence with the piano smile  noice!

Could be, who knows what the generator's up to

Although this one is hectic, I still dig that bird. It makes me think of a big game of duck hunt and everyone is shooting ducks out of the sky in a rhythm to one another.
