Power Coupling

By Devieus on May 18, 2024 10:01 pm

Raioh made this, but didn't do the description. Song's stuck in our head, so hope you'll have as much fun with it. It's got a nice melody. There were some hardware issues involving the cable from the amp to the PC, it should be okay now; little to no crackling.

He couldn't really think of a name though, this was the first that came to him and it's sort of relevant I suppose. Somehow. Notably the intro and the outro.

Great coupling of heavy guitars and chipsounds, they are now totally part of the same track. The guitars add low end and grit, an additional epic layer. I like that main melody repeated in different ways through the track.

That's more or less laziness on our part. Instead of making a track do something interesting, it's layering instead.

Really an epic track. The melodies infected my brain immediately. Birdy tweets at the right moments. Well done.

Great track! Glad the birds didn't get left behind!

He does like being epic, and birds.

As the flag bearer of our music, the birds will never be left behind.

Oooh that opening low growly synth sound.. It sounds like the birds got a new BIGGER friend and are walking down the street in unison.  "yea we got dis!"  Love those thick dark chords as the birds float overhead.  Nice melodies as well.  Heavy outro!

Head Nod City. Really like the sound choices and melodic narrative here

Love the melodies throughout, nailed it! Chipmetal feels so cool here, first it feels like old videogames and then it gets HEAVY in a way they never quite did.

The dino has been with them the entire time, it just likes to open the door for them.

The true story is lost to time, but even hearing it in its native tongue, you can tell there's something big.

It wouldn't be properly metal without some proper weight to back it up.

The concept of distorted guitars + chip sounds is really something I hadn't thought before and it's such a cool idea.

It's not a new one, but sorely overlooked. It's our mission this year to populate the genre.

Ooh this one is really nice. Nice changes of pace all the way through. Liked the drums. More variations in their energy maybe could have elevated it.

No doubt that's always going to be the case, we don't really touch it after it's made, but his latest one I think does something. Will investigate further.

Claves are always the unsung heroes of everything.
I think that was the dino you were referring to, and it's a great sting.
