Lost

I caught the flu this week and it put a damper on all my creativity, as well as my cognitive abilities and some of my physical capabilities.

So nothing fancy this time, just piano and some strings. I don't feel like putting effort into it, even the title is half-assed since it ends on a major chord.

Feel better!  Pretty piece, despite your low energy.  Glad you submitted something anyways

Also it all comes together when the strings come in. good stuff!

Thanks guys.

It would just feel bad if I didn't.

Strings are really good at doing that.

I wish you a speedy recovery! Comforting vibes from this simple but lovely melody smile

Aw man, I hope you feel better! I know that feeling of scraping something together despite the universe giving you little chance or reason to finish a weeklybeat. Congrats on that!

I feel like I've been infected by even visiting your page this week. Eww. This is definitely a sad song full of whoa and sickness but well done. The strings speak of better days soon approaching. And maybe that major chord represents the last kleenex tissue yanked from the box when the flu is done. Doing weekly beats while sick really blows chunks (sorry, hope that's not too close to actual events) Hope you're feeling better by the time you get the comment.

I dig when those low strings come in, it's a nice track in spite of everything. Feel better!

Very nostalgic and lullabyist (if that's a word). Even your lo-rez persona is impressive.

Thanks, I'm feeling better already. I wish I could say it's because of you or these comforting vibes, but it's mostly just the passage of time.

If anything, it gave me more opportunity because I had to stay home, but the fever was pretty killer.

Nah, it was an honest flu with coughing and stuff. I'm kind of surprised it has the atmosphere it has, full of sad and sick indeed.

Yea, definitely my favorite part, and also one easy shortcut I mentioned. To pull on heart strings, all you have to do is pull out the strings section.

I'd go with soothing and emotional. And also putting all the easy music theory in one place.

Sweet. Lovely melody.

Love when the strings kick in with the piano.  It's never easy working on music sick, glad to hear you're feeling better!

I'm not going to let some weak-ass disease get the better of me and stop me from making music, even if it's just piano and strings, objectively a great combo.
