Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I was sick of the bass doing its shit, so I toned the bastard down an octave; it doesn't feel that much lower, but the bass doesn't go up anymore, so it has a lot of opportunity to hit the lower notes. I also managed to make it work with arbitrary quarter signatures, but it decided to go for 4/4 anyway.
I'm sick of the same damn lead, I'm gonna put in some variety next time.

Definitely sounds like you're having a "band" with all of its struggles. Bassist not doing what s/he's supposed to do, same lead all the time... interesting... :-)
