OK, so I need some practice mixing real gear 
I think I thinned out the lead too much, boosted the bass and mushed it all up with my cheesy mixer's EQ, and that Volca Bass' gain really explodes when the peak gets high! I think I need to invest in a little compressor pedal for it. All in all, I'm happy with this for an hour's work. The knob tweaking was performed live. Oh well, next time it'll be better!
