Attack of the Attack

By Devieus on October 24, 2018 7:47 pm

I removed the tempo changes, I felt like it was making the whole thing too inconsistent. Unlike the instrument change, which totally doesn't do that.

What's more important though is that I added an attack to the envelope of almost every track (only the drums are spared, but I can tell right now, it's a pretty neat effect). I also tweaked the bass a bit to still have a bass, it'll no longer do sixteenths and it's raised an octave.

It's not too shabby.

I think the attack is adding softer string like quality. Definitely less frenetic without the tempo changes. Not too shabby indeed!

The very antithesis of shabby. And quite enjoyable, in a deranged mechanistic sense. ::)

It's definitely doing something to it, that's for sure.

It has its place, that's for sure.

Very flowy on this generation! good modifications on the bass, it brings a whole other dimension to the track smile

Maybe not a whole dimension, but perhaps a half one.

Thanks, the generator is trying its best.

Very cool track, no shabbiness to be found!

I'm sure it's there, just very hidden.

I would very much enjoy to play this level of hidden shabbiness.  The background arps are super dreamy, well done!

I think I would too. I'll upload the generator, it's not quite the same but it'll have to do.
