we need our rage but we also need this

I needed to take a little break after my last submission. Since then, I finished my last round of chemo and I am on a path of slowly healing and recovering from what's been a year and a half of cancer treatment...holy shit. What a wild ride this has been.

This week I am moving into a new office space with really rad humans that are therapeutic professionals working to create more equity and accessibility in our work. We have been incubating this vision for about 9 months and this week it becomes birthed into reality. So a LOT has been going on and taking up space in my mind and my calendar that's kept me from WB.

I must credit this song title to Paisley Frog, who commented "we need our anger but we need this too" on one of my prior submissions. Thank you for the inspiring this song title! This song is intended to be very restorative. I highly recommend listening in headphones, lying in bed before going to sleep, or lying on your yoga mat for restorative yoga or savasana. Sound bowls have brought me so much healing since my diagnosis. They feel so nourishing and calming, and my hope is that they do that for whoever listens also.

I think I might be in the midst of making a protest album?! What?! My first ever, but this will be on that album!

Thanks to anyone who listens. It feels good to be back this week!

i'm diving back in now

Awesome news and so nice to see you back!  The crickets, rain and blending of the notes is such a calming combination.  Thank you for this much needed recharging escape.

As someone who had to take care of a loved one who went through the whole chemo process, I have nothing but the deepest respect for you, your patience, and your perseverance. Glad you are doing well and I hope you'll feel like your new-old-self soon! *hugs*

As for the track, its soothing, eyes closed, and ready for the day ahead once it ends. Thank you!
