please excuse the brief excursion

i started this at magfest before i realized i should submit I NEED MORE SLEEP instead. it occurred to me that i had never actually tried to use the M8 to simulate LSDJ. while it's a very powerful device, i have since realized that it makes way more sense to use LSDJ to simulate LSDJ. nothing against M8 but i kept running into walls trying to use typical LSDJ tech which made it very frustrating to attempt because it requires multiple commands and/or tables to pull off what LSDJ can do in one command or instrument setting. that being said i think i still learned a lot. and also i was working on other music this week so this really took a backseat! ok thanks bye!

Sweet chippin'!! smile

This chip goes hard. All sounds so familiar yet fresh. Sweet!

Hooooooly dang!!! The chips are strong here!! Hahahahah, great job! I'd love to see what this sounds like if you ever come back to it with some more sleep, because this is already awesome as is! Great job!

sick chordal modulations and thicc kicc!   btw when M8 firmware reaches v4.9.6 that's when i'll stop upgrading

nice melody!

as the LSDJ master you are this seems like writing with your non-dominant hand!

Great groove, with different outlined chords flying around with the kind of sprezzatura I'd normally associate with Necros or Disposable Planet.  The bass + arp smash effects in the intro and outro are fabulous!

haha the fakebit tag.

This is short and sweet! I had a similar experience with m8 when trying to replicate LSDJ. It's the reason I've started making LSDJ tracks again and subsequently posting them on PSG. smile
