continuing the theme of using WB to get more use out of gear, a quick last minute M8 jam built around some sounds I sampled from a west pest. I'm not really a modular or even semimodular type of person but as a resident of pittsburgh I felt compelled to support local creators. It's a neat machine.
The title is a suggestion of M8's random name generator.

Nice, I like the metallic sounds. Like I'm banging on empty oil drums after the apocalypse. Sounds like the soundtrack to a game where you have to spy and skulk around without being noticed. Doing crimes in the dark. Nicely done!

Hey, I'll be in Pittsburgh in two weeks for PyCon!

Nicely tamed noises there! Enjoyed the tune. Complained about the duration. You know, the usual.

This has some really nice sounds in it, I have little bits of gear as well that I rarely use, this is inspiring me to record some stuff from it.  My sister used to live in Pittsburgh, nice city, is Attic records still there?  That place was so fun to explore and get lost in.

Thanks! Yeah, I've only scratched the west pest surface (not used to patching really) but out of the box you get cool timbres just by knob twiddling, though it does have a very characteristic sound coming from the LPG it has instead of a filter

Oh that's awesome! Attic is still going! But actually must confess I've never been, I used to live super close to Jerry's record which is pretty big too! I even got a t-shirt from them with a logo drawn by R Crumb! And thanks for listening smile
