a board of canadaesque tune. made on m8, all m8 engines except for samples on the drums. Well, two of the synths are actually single-cycles/wavetable samples.

I keep hearing about Boards of Canada in the M8 Discord. I think I might need to finally check them out, because it's always paired with dope stuff like this.
I'm really digging the vibe on this one, this is so good. Chill, relaxed and laid back. Taking your time to reveal new parts to the listener. The late melody that comes in at around 2:00 something is SO damn good.
REALLY enjoyed this piece, great job all around heart

dang, feel like this song could keep me warm through the winter. love the sounds you used, the texture and balance of the mix, and the slow and subtle shifts as the shore erodes into the river.
lovely work, ddmm64!

I love the sound design.  That low bassy drone that comes in at 0:42 has really nice movement in it.  I don't use bass drones to flesh out the bottom of my harmonies enough, it just creates such a nice "stable" foundation to build off of.  Awesome track.

It's so mellow, I love it.

This is so good! Mellow and warm while also being up beat somehow

I heard this come on and wondered if BoC had suddenly snuck in - fantastic style match here! I love the tones you got out of the M8 and how you take your time to let the track unfold organically. SO good!

Great chill hypnotic flow. Love the rich full synths layers. The bass drone holds it down! It is Boards-esque, and that's a good thing.

Love the instant BoC vibes from that main synth line.  The slow reveal of the other instruments gave me that eroding feel too.  The high pads over the bass and synths sound heavenly and fill the mix so nicely.  Those chords on the pads at around 2:55ish are so pleasing.  Excellent work!
