This is super cool! Love the polish on the arrangement and use of space with background and foreground elements. Those delays are haunting. I was thinking a dark grey woodland space with decaying ruins of factories. I also really like a how lot of the ear candy and background elements have this distorted lo-fi vibe to them. Great work!

cool, what language is that? I love hearing non-English vocals on here & anywhere!

Thanks! It's actually an invented language.
I wanted it to sound vaguely Slavic—somewhere between Russian and Ukrainian—without being a real language. I like the idea of the voice carrying emotion and texture without the listener being tied to specific words.
It was also a specific challenge I set for myself that week: create vocals that felt expressive and believable without using any real language. It was a lot harder than I expected, but also a lot of fun.
That is SO FUN!!!!!! Nailed it. (I also felt a little sheepish asking because of muhamor's comment, I thought, oh is that really Polish? ![]()

Haha, my first thought was "polish" as in a polished production, not the Polish language. 😅
