Unknown Theme from an Unknown Film

By DataJanitor on January 21, 2024 9:52 pm

Started off with a piano sound and chord progression, looped that a lot,  laid down most of the solo piano work in one take, added layers and synths/textures and structure, changed out the piano for a synth on the base chord progression, oh my!

Here we have an Unknown Theme from an Unknown Film.

Very moody indeed. It took me to some empty places and lost urban streets. Someone walking around, looking for his own soul. What a bizarre film.

Very atmospheric. Could be a sci-fi from a deserted planet.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Spooky and intriguing! Really like the soft shaker-sounding percussion in the background - adds just the right amount of rhythm and movement.

I hope we find out where it's from at some point, it's very beautiful.

Ominous piano vibes ala Scully and Mulder rummaging through file cabinets in a dark smoke filled room.  The bassy sub is a nice touch to the swells.
