This is indeed tropical!  Those marimba/bell thingies are gorgeous.  And then for some reason pitch shifting always gives me that "island" feel - maybe because I think of hawaiian slide guitar?  and then the vibrato is like the shimmer of the ocean.  gorgeous.

very title appropriate. really dig the lead when it kicks in. nice solo as well. enjoyable stuff.
