Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Beautiful piece of atmosphere and mystery. (I'm a fan of voice samples where people are reading numbers as well.)
This has an awesome techno/demoscene vibe to it. That beat really grabbed me. And then the "hammer dulcimer" type thing was such a dope surprise, especially the beat cut up! I love that SO much!
Is that patch supposed to be imitating a specific instrument? It sounds really cool. What software/hardware did you use to make this track?

a lot of instruments on this track were omnisphere presets - the warm pads, all of the choir sounds and the hammer dulcimer thing. the dulcimer patch was this plucked instrument thing called "king david's lyre", with the original part run through an arpeggiator. one of those happy accidents
