Buford Strikeover

By Dank Receptor on January 18, 2024 7:26 pm

Same setup as weeks 1 and 2, with an added poly synth and a more hectic and jittery vibe this time. Had fun modulating the Microgranny to bits and figuring out some sequencer stuff. Mackie mixer, live, straight two stereo recording.

This is lovingly hectic

Fantastic work on that microgranny, really love the glitchy sounds, the squelchy bass is really great too, amazing track

love when that snare appears out of nowhere in the turmoil

Yeah, it was a cool thing to find out that it has such a comprehensice MIDI support. Updated the chip to the latest version, btw.

Yeah, she lives in a box the size of a small, Eastern European electronic instrument. big_smile

Thanks! Sudden percussion is fun.

Ah this is really cool!  I like how much is going on at the same time. The beat sounds like it is breaking apart.

Whooaa this goes hard. It's hard not to be energized by this one, I need to go do some jumping jacks or something...

your acid lines are always so original haha, I feel mine are boring in comparison
really good work on catchy lines/call and response and STRANGE AS FUCK RHYTMS haha woo!

Ahhhh, thanks XC3N! Really appreciated.

wow, really enjoying catching up on your acid. microgranny slaps here, awesome combo with all the analog goopiness. also the 303 vibrato is hilarious.
