Sometimes a wave of loneliness rushes over me. It's not that I don't have people around me, its just that where I am in my life and where they are just feels so distant.

The music has a wistful quality to it that sells that lonely feeling.  I can relate to the sense of being alone even when surrounded by people.

I really, truely wish you more social companionment, so that you feel less lonely, but I wish still those beautiful tracks will accompany me the rest of the year. this one is wonderful.

I agree, I really felt the lonely walk home under the streetlights from the first few bars. It's cool how you were able to convert how you feel into music so directly. I struggle with that sometimes! Thank you for your music heart

melancholy but still full of life and uplifting in the second half.  Very comforting. Nicely done.

A fitting track. Were those soundfonts you used? I've been trying to find ways to use sfz files again.

Sorry to hear about the loneliness! Come hang out at weeklymeets with us sometimes smile

The clarinet sounds so good. Beautiful track, delicate but with a nice appropriate orchestration.

Calming and gentle, maybe missing the mark a bit, but that's just what I get from it.

Thanks everyone for the kind words! Really appreciate this community here

Sometimes I feel like all the stories I write are about just that at their heart; people navigating loneliness.

This feels a bit different than what I'm used to hearing from you, but I really like it all the same. There's a drifting kind of quality to it that I like.

this track is so emotional and beautiful! a perfect simple melody, buildup, story arc.

I sometimes joke that great art comes from suffering. But it's not really 100% a joke. I chuckle to myself sometimes when I'm dealing with a problem that seems insurmountable. I'm thinking how I may or may not overcome it, but in any case the problem itself can't be that important to make me not wanna enjoy myself. And I usually deal with it best alone, other people can make it a bit... complicated (!?!??!!?). yes, even loneliness...

anyway always a pleasure to listen to your music!
