Vivace for Now

I heard bassoons all week.  This piece is jaunty and positive--  Celebrating that I wake up every morning grateful that I am not an Axe-murderer.

That's exactly what an axe-murderer would say!

Joking aside, I like the composition. Mixing Grieg-like orchestration with 20th century jazz piano. Wish this were longer!

Nitpick: that piano could use a little velocity variation to sound less robotic.

The one axe murderer I know in fiction is pretty jaunty and positive, but he wouldn't appreciate this song for its worth.
